Lauren opened Macbeth at Portland Center Stage on October 4th. The production is an adaptation for a cast of three women. Lauren is playing the “green” track that includes Banquo, Duncan and MacDuff. The production was directed by Adriana Baer and runs until November 24th.
In January, Lauren will be co-producing and appearing in a staged reading of Cry It Out by Molly Smith-Metzler. More details soon!

Lauren worked with From the Ground UP’s, on their inaugural workshop intensive series Taking Space and Telling Your Story, where she led another session of Shakespeare for Shrews with new and returning participants.
Lauren recently completed teaching Understanding Theater at PSU, a course designed for both majors and non-majors that considers the societal context in which plays are written and staged, looking back at Western Theatre history and diving into what is being created right now in the Portland community.
In February, Lauren appeared in a staged reading of A Doll’s House for Portland Shakespeare Project. The reading was presented in conversation with Artists Repertory Theatre’s production of A Doll’s House, Part 2.
Last fall, Lauren appeared in The Taming by Lauren Gunderson, a sassy political farce presented just in time for the 2018 mid-terms at Coho Theatre. Lauren played the role of Patricia as well as being part of the producing team for the production.
